New Vets-100A Report Required
Effective June 18, 2008, the new Vets-100A report is required of all Federal Contractors. As expected, the Veterans Administration has allowed contractors a year to implement the tracking requirements for the Vets-100A report, so the first time the report will be filed is in the 2009 reporting cycle. All contractors are expected to file the Vets-100 report as usual in 2008.
Contractors who have not already modified their veteran’s self-identification form should do so at least one year prior to their veteran’s reporting cycle, or no later than August 31, 2008. In addition, the purchase order statement should be modified to include reference to the implementing regulations. A summary of the new report requirements are below.
