Berkshire Associates’ 2010 Enforcement Agency Updates: DOL’s Enforcement Database
The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has launched an enforcement data
website covering information regarding the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), as well as other Department of Labor (DOL) enforcement agencies. The data provided by the OFCCP for the enforcement database consists of completed compliance evaluations as far back as 2004. The database contains detailed information on compliance reviews and complaint investigations, and is updated monthly.
Details such as the total number of employees, number of female and minority employees, closure type (notice of compliance, conciliation agreement), and specific types of violations found (recruitment, hiring, promotion, terminations, compensation) are provided. In addition, the "Agency Tools" section of the website also includes links to the OFCCP’s National Pre-Award Registry and a listing of current companies that are declared ineligible for federal contracts.
