OFCCP Personnel Changes in Midwest Region
The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has announced the upcoming retirement of two long term employees in the Midwest Region, headquartered in Chicago, IL. Regional Director Sandy Ziegler and Regional Deputy Director Shirley Thomas will both retire by July 1, 2011. The OFCCP will begin searching for replacements soon.
The OFCCP National Office will provide increased support to the Midwest Regional Office during the transition, and announced the addition of two positions—Director for Division of Regional Operations, and Director for Planning and Support. In the interim, current OFCCP managers have been selected to represent the Midwest Regional Office on temporary assignments. They are:
- Marvin Jordan, currently the District Director in Phoenix, will serve as interim Regional Deputy Director
- Aida Collins as interim Director of Regional Operations, who currently holds the same position in the SWARM region
- Michael Downing as interim Planning and Support Director, who currently holds the same position in the Northeast Region
