OFCCP Scheduling Letter Recall—Midwest Region

Contractors who received scheduling letters dated June 3, 2011, from the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs’ (OFCCP) Midwest Region, are being notified by the National Office to disregard the letters. In the text of the letter, Division of Program Operations Director Thomas Dowd states the Midwest Regional Office over-scheduled establishments at this time.
The letter continues by confirming the facility to which the letter was sent is contained in the Federal Contractor Selection System (FCSS), however, the facility is not currently scheduled for a compliance review. The letter also states the facility may be scheduled for a compliance review at some point in the near future in accordance with FCSS protocols. Contractors who receive this “disregard” letter are advised to ensure their AAPs are ready for possible submission at a later date.
Contractors who receive such letters are not required to respond to the June 3, 2011 scheduling letter by submitting their affirmative action programs. If a submission has already been made, it will be returned to the contractor.
