With Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Programs (OFCCP) recently publishing its Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to notify contractors of modifications to the affirmative action regulations under Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, many companies are looking for tools to for effectively hiring disabled employees. Below is a list of resources contractors can utilize to help meet the latest regulations:

The Employer Resources section of disability.gov has information about recruiting, hiring, and retaining people with disabilities—as well as the many talents and contributions that employees with disabilities can bring to the workplace. There's also information about assistive technologies, job accommodations, tax incentives, occupational safety, and laws that protect the rights of workers with disabilities.

Job Area Network provides consulting to employers on people with disabilities and all aspects of job accommodation.

Disability and Employment–Workforce One is designed to improve coordination and collaboration among employment and training to build effective community partnerships to serve individuals with disabilities.

Disability Online—this is the Employment & Training Administration's Disabilities Program. The Disabilities Program develops and implements workforce disability policy and program initiatives to address employment challenges of persons with disabilities and multiple challenges to employment.
