Lynn Clements, Director of Regulatory Affairs at Berkshire Associates, gives attendees the necessary information to survive an Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Programs’ (OFCCP) audit and review best practices employers should take for effective leave and disability management, in her two SHRM 2016 Annual Conference sessions on June 20 and 21.
1. When the Post Office Delivers an OFCCP Scheduling Letter: How to Survive an OFCCP Audit: New regulations, a new Scheduling Letter, and new compensation discrimination investigation protocols have fundamentally changed how OFCCP conducts compliance reviews. This presentation on June 20 at 2:00 p.m. will cover those changes and prepare you for surviving an audit, with an emphasis on how to successfully examine and be ready to defend disparities in pay and “total comp” during an audit.
2. Under the Microscope: How the Government Examines Your ADA/EEO Practices: With recent statutory and regulatory changes, employers are facing greater scrutiny of the impact their employment practices have on Individuals with Disabilities (IWD). This informative session on June 21 at 2:15 p.m. will review best practices employers should take for effective leave and disability management based on recent OFCCP and EEOC enforcement activities. Using case scenarios, attendees will learn whether their employment practices are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
