What to Expect

Using our learning management system, Thinkific, we have created an interactive and engaging experience for each user. The self-paced portion of this course will have you navigating through the chapters of the course with ease. Everything you will need for this course will be housed inside of your course and easily accessed from your student dashboard.

At the end of each chapter, there will be a brief quiz to test your knowledge and to make sure you are fully grasping the concepts presented.

In addition to the self-paced portion, this course includes six live workshops led by a Berkshire training expert. These interactive sessions allow students to participate in hands-on activities and ask questions from a seasoned affirmative action professional. Students must attend all six sessions.

Once you have been through all the chapters and participated in the live sessions with our expert instructor, there will be a final assessment to culminate your learning experience. You are then presented with a certificate of completion and your SHRM activity code.

What Customers Say

"Eye opening"

"I have been in HR for the last 14 years and I thought I was ready for my first AAP preparation given my past experience with compliance. I have to say, this course has been most eye-opening yet not chastising. The instructor was very approachable and kept the morale up with so many encouraging examples and advice. I now KNOW I am ready!"

- Rosemarie C. Luczak, Core4ce LLC

Introduction or refresher

"This course is a great introduction to someone new to affirmative action plans and also an excellent refresher to someone who has been away from them for some time.  I found it to have a good balance of pre-work, group activities and instruction divided into reasonable topic-focused sessions that one can fit in during the workday."

- Catharine Hurley, Validic, Inc.
