An effective Diversity and Inclusion strategy can’t exist without a diverse and equitable workforce.  This session will discuss using available data to determine where you are, as a basis for where you want to be. 

As part of Berkshire’s ongoing series of webinars, this session will discuss the types of data you already have,  public data on demographic availability, as well as the types of analyses companies may want to use to establish a D&I baseline.

Cheryl Boyer, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is Vice President of Client Services at Berkshire where she leads a team of expert consultants responsible for the delivery of affirmative action, OFCCP audit support, applicant management, compensation, and professional training services. As Vice President, Cheryl provides strategic direction on solving client’s business issues and ensuring consistent and reliable delivery of Berkshire’s solutions. Additionally, Cheryl is a member of Berkshire’s Executive Team where she lends her 30 years of experience as an HR practitioner to provide guidance on policies, procedures, and operations that serve to improve the client experience.

About Thomas Carnahan, Ph.D

Thomas Carnahan, Ph.D is the Pay Equity Manager and is responsible for managing Berkshire’s pay equity line of business by promoting the ability to conduct meaningful, statistical analyses of clients’ compensation data to ensure fair pay and in support of federal, state, and/or local fair pay laws. With more than 15 years of experience in research methodology, data analysis, and HR process development, Thomas brings to Berkshire advanced-level data capabilities, and an extensive background that will serve to enhance our pay equity solutions. Thomas holds a Ph.D in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Capella University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western Kentucky University.
