Berkshire and Resolution Economics are pleased to share that our experts participated in HR.com’s annual State of Pay Equity Report. Berkshire’s President, Beth Ronnenburg, Dr. Thomas Carnahan, Berkshire’s Manager of Compensation Services, along with Rick Holt, a partner at Resolution Economics, were among expert panelists for HR.com’s State of Pay Equity 2023-24 survey effort.

As part of this effort, our team helped to shape the wording, questions, and content of the survey, which was then distributed to a wide cross-section of HR professionals spanning nearly every industry and vertical across North America, mainly in the United States.

It was an honor to work with HR.com and be selected to assist in this effort and we are proud of the contributions that all panelists have made in producing this survey.

The final report, entitled the State of Pay Equity 2023-24, is now available and sheds light on how HR practitioners are feeling about pay equity, both in their own organizations and in the broader HR landscape.

The findings paint a mixed picture about pay equity. More than one-third of people who responded to the survey said that pay equity is a top priority for their organizations, but few respondents feel their organizations have fully “solved” the issue of pay equity. Still, respondents were hopeful; 7 in 10 believed that their organization would become more equitable in the next two years, according to the report.

The full report is now available on the HR.com website.
