Increase in Minimum Wage for Federal Government ContractorsThe Wage and Hour Division of the U.S. Department of Labor announced the minimum wage rate for workers performing work on or in connection with federal contracts covered by Executive Order 13658, beginning January 1, 2021. The rate that generally must be paid to workers performing work on or in connection with covered contracts will increase from $10.80 to $10.95 per hour, while tipped employees performing work on or in connection with covered contracts will increase from $7.55 to $7.65 per hour.
