OFCCP releases new registration process for educational institutions

On Thursday, August 25^th 2022, OFCCP announced that they updated their guidance for educational institutions. Educational institutions will now register through the OFCCP Contractor Portal using their Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) unique identification number (UNIT ID or IPEDS ID) and their Employer Identification Number. They updated an FAQ (under Contractor Portal – Registration – Question #4) along with the User Guide.

Please note that while their announcement and guidance documents do not address this, Berkshire sought clarification on how this updated guidance impacts educational institutions that already registered and certified. OFCCP confirmed that educational institutions who have already registered and certified do not need to take any additional action.
