A Year of Change: What Federal Contractors Can Expect from OFCCP in 2021

Over the last year, we have survived a pandemic, a presidential election and an economic downturn—all of which were underscored by ongoing social upheaval and calls for systemic change. In this context, OFCCP has adapted its regulatory processes to address the shifting landscape. During this session, Berkshire President Beth Ronnenburg will identify OFCCP’s current enforcement priorities, share lessons learned from recent OFCCP compliance reviews, and offer insight into real-world EEO and affirmative action compliance and risk management strategies.

If you’re attending SHRM this year, this is a session you won’t want to miss!

Lessons Learned from Current OFCCP Compensation Reviews

Identifying potential disparities in compensation remains a top priority for the OFCCP.  Join Berkshire’s Lynn Clements and Dr. Thomas Carnahan for this informative session on how to navigate the pay portion of an OFCCP compliance review.

Lynn and Thomas will discuss their recent experiences helping employers explain and defend their compensation practices during recent OFCCP compliance reviews in the Pacific region and beyond. The panel will provide insights on the types of questions OFCCP has asked contractors and what contractors can expect from OFCCP statisticians reviewing their data.

Attendees will leave this session with a list of practical take-aways, including ways to comply with the requirement to annually review your organization’s compensation systems as part of your annual affirmative action program, how to evaluate current risk, and what organizations can do proactively to prepare for OFCCP’s review of pay practices.
