Berkshire parent company announces new acquisition

Berkshire’s parent company Resolution Economics, LLC, announced today that it has acquired a portion of Biddle Consulting group, including the Affirmative Action Plan, DE&I, Pay Equity and related training services. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The pre-employment testing services of Biddle Consulting operating under the name TestGenius were not part of the acquisition and will continue to operate under the Biddle Consulting Group name.  

Biddle Consulting Group is well known in compliance circles for its affirmative action and EEO business and Berkshire President Beth Ronnenburg applauded the new partnership.  

“I’ve respected our new colleagues’ work in the AAP compliance world for many years and look forward to partnering with them,” Ronnenburg said. “The acquisition of these practice groups will allow us to further innovate and grow our high-quality client services to even more companies in need of AAP and a wide variety of highly refined workforce analytics services.” 

Headquartered in Folsom, California and beginning in 1974, Biddle is a market leader in EEO consulting, litigation support, personnel testing software and AAP outsourcing and software.  Patrick Nooren, Ph.D., will continue to lead the Biddle Consulting Group practice areas once the transaction with Resolution Economics is completed.

The new partnership was announced just over a year after Resolution Economics acquired Berkshire in October 2022.  

Now entering its 26th year, Resolution Economics is a leading specialty consulting firm providing economic and statistical analysis to a variety of clients, including companies and law firms, with expertise in labor and employment matters, finance/forensic accounting analysis, artificial intelligence bias audits, life sciences, and affirmative action planning. Acquisition of the Biddle AAP services, among other areas in the equal employment opportunity space complements and adds to the services of Berkshire, which has operated as a division of Resolution Economics since last year’s acquisition.
