We’re launching a webcast about the science of HR seen through the lens of EEO compliance experts, Labor Economists, Statisticians, and Industrial/Organizational (I/O) psychologists!

In our new web series, The Sound of HR Science, Berkshire Associates’ resident thought leaders and the litigation experts at Resolution Economics will discuss the science of human resources as it relates to the employee lifecycle. This short-form, educational webcast is designed to explore advanced HR strategies in a way that listeners can understand and immediately implement.

If one thing has become clear as the HR compliance landscape shifts, it’s that organizations must ensure the decisions they make with respect to hiring, promotions, employee compensation, or any other term or condition of employment, are based on merit…and this is where the field of I/O Psychology was founded.

As Dr. Brian Marentette, Director of People Insights at Berkshire, explains in the first episode, “I/O psychology was born during the Industrial Revolution, when hiring the very best talent was crucial to our nation’s economy and global standing.” The bottom line – It is no different today. I/O Psychology has always been, and will always be, about using science to make the very best selection decisions for an organization.

Our web series will also share perspectives on the science of HR from our EEO compliance experts, Labor Economists, and Statisticians – all of whom have a deep understanding of anti-discrimination law and considerable experience in supporting employers against discrimination claims.

Tune in to learn how companies can harness I/O Psychology and the science of HR to create useful and defensible HR policies and practices. And be sure to subscribe for full access to our webcast library and notifications of new episodes!

In these times of change, remember…trust the science to guide your compliance!
