If you have been following along with our blogs or with OFCCP’s news releases, it will come as no surprise that the OFCCP has been trying to figure out a way to have contractor verify their compliance on an annual basis. It appears that the agency is one step closer to having a mechanism in place for just that.

Recently, the agency added a new section to their website entitled Affirmative Action Plan Verification Interface, with a big bolded ‘Coming Soon’ located on this page. This website defines the Affirmative Action Plan Verification Interface (AAVI) as, “a secure web-based interface created to improve communication and the transfer of Affirmative Action Plan data between Federal Contractors and the OFCCP”. We believe this may indicate that the AAP verification proposal is very close to OMB approval although nothing is official yet. Keep an eye on our blogs for future development on this major endeavor by the agency.
