How to improve candidate engagement across your hiring process with an ATS

Recorded February 2021

According to the LinkedIn Talent Blog, in 2019 employers saw a 20% increase in job seeker drop-off from the hiring process. This takes qualified candidates out of your pool in a competitive talent market.

But why are candidates dropping off?

Some say a longer hiring process and a lack of communication and engagement from the employer are major reasons that candidates lose interest in the job.

The experts at Berkshire will provide some actionable tips to improve candidate engagement today using your Applicant Tracking System.

You will learn how a candidate-first focus enhances engagement through every step of the process:

  • Why an accurate, thorough job description is the most critical step in hiring
  • How video engages candidates with a full picture of your company
  • Why pre-screening questions capture candidate attention and limit the time you spend
  • How automated communication and templates keep candidates informed - and save you time
  • How to analyze internal processes to find out where you’re losing candidates and adjust as needed
